Located on a prime beachfront location, Kata Beach Resort and Spa features spectacular views of the sandy Kata Beach and the turquoise Andaman Sea. The resort includes 3 restaurants, complete with a wine cellar and seafood dinners. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area.
Leisurely afternoons can be spent lounging by one of the 2 swimming pools, with a pool bar and a sectioned children's pool. Recreation options include fitness center, a private spa treatment at Kanda Spa and excursions organized by the tour desk. All rooms feature private balconies, air conditioning and cable TV with international language channels.

I stayed here twice in two different rooms. A sea view room is definitely worth the extra money. The property is well maintained and the location is unbeatable.

So here's the thing, if you're booking this hotel then you're paying extra for the location. There're literally 2 hotels in Kata on the beach, and that's the only one which is on the sand. If you're after moving between pool and beach in seconds while have seaview all day, then this is unbeatable op

Location is great. Rooms are spacious and nice. Staff is fairly accommodating and helpful. Views are nice. Good breakfast. Haven't had a chance to use to use room service- they close by 10 or 10.30PM, but during a day it's a walking distance to local market and other places.

The breakfast was large and varied. The rooms with access to the pool were good. We really enjoyed the pool and the beach. The location is great. There is an adjacent beach and you don't have to walk or cross the road to get to it. There are lots of sales stalls and a market with food stalls right
