: Ive been staying in BU for over 20 years every time I visit my family. Its convenient and local to Phra Ram 9 for MRT, central mall. They offer free shuttle bus but you can walk to central in 12 mins. Staff are always great, its always clean. They change towels, make up room every day unlike some hotels. 7/11 right downstairs and cafe Amazon. Great value for money, in the heart of proper local Thai area thats not full of tourists or overpriced property. You can also leave your luggage with reception for a few days when you come back to bkk again.
: There used to be a BU restaurant downstairs where cafe Amazon was over the years, shame thats been taken away. WiFi can be annoying having to re-log in but if you have a Thai sim its not a big deal. One key card issued when you need it to swipe into level 5 to swim but someone else needs the key to also get into the room or pass the security doors along the corridor.

: Save yourself the experience: The staff outside the building is extremely nice (parking lot and entry door). Reception personnel is also very helpful, but they have so many rules and restriction to follow that is imposible to like them.
: We booked for 4 nights and still extra cost for early check in. And they play a game to try not to give you the deposit back. 1. Has a pool but no towels. Can only be used 9-21hrs2. Has a kitchen but is forbidden to even cook instant noodles. No plates, no cups, no coffee machine, no cutlery, no knife so not even a mango can be eaten. They will fine you if you cook anything with boiling water (noodles, rice) is in big letters attached to a 1 cup water kettle. 3. Apartment for 4 people and can only give you 1 key. So if you split you lose.4. They charge you for everything, no flexibility on nothing.5. We were 4 people and everyday we got 3 towels. 6. There is a TV with no internet access so unless you are Thai the TV is just decoration7. The cleaners go and review everything inside the apartment when you check out. Seems youre a criminal after they prove you are a regular guest. 8. After maid checked apartment they me wash my hand towel on the reception bathroom or they wont give me my deposit back. Seems like the hand towel had a sunblock stain that I easily took away with the bathrooms soap. But as said you feel as a criminal until they prove it. 9. I was there with my family and from moment 1 we felt trapped there. Everything has a cost and everything is forbidden. They have a list of costs they call souvenir like remote for aircon, soap container. Etc 10. The area is not ok, lots of clothing sweatshops working 24/7

: I booked a night but they check you in at 3pm and check you out at 11 am. It's a 20 hours stay not a full day. The walls are very thin between rooms so we could hear our neighbours TV all night. Also the door is not isolated so you hear everything on the corridor.
