About Beyond Resort Kata

Located on a prime beachfront location, Kata Beach Resort and Spa features spectacular views of the sandy Kata Beach and the turquoise Andaman Sea. The resort includes 3 restaurants, complete with a wine cellar and seafood dinners. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area.

So here's the thing, if you're booking this hotel then you're paying extra for the location. There're literally 2 hotels in Kata on the beach, and that's the only one which is on the sand.
