  : The location. Quiet from the khaosan noises
  : Everything else. Stuffy room, Dirty walls, old dirty looking bedsheets, old dirty looking towels(terrible choice of color), shower head not working properly, the room was too tiny, not like what was shown on the advertisement pics, very noisy vent ( you can turn yours off but you can hear your neighbors vents) thin walls, ac remote very old and you have to press several times for it to work, dirty minibar. I paid so much for too little

  : Great location, clean room with comfortable balcony.Lots of small vendors in the streets surrounding and gets busier as you near Khao San road. We had a bus booked to Koh Chang the following day and pick up was literally 3 doors down.

  : If you only want to spend half a night, while transferring from travel to travel this place is okay and kind of cheap. However I would not advice you to stay more than one night. Khao San is the most horrible area to stay in Bangkok. There is partying, drunk tourists and horrendous smells! The room and Tanee Place isnt much different. To be frank: The complex smells like chemical cleaning supplies and the room looks like someone was murdered there. The walls were full of splashes in different colors, the fridge was disgusting and everything felt and smelt really jucky. The air conditioning can only do freezing cold or sweaty hot and right outside the window was a street lamp which made sleeping kinda difficult. The room was so small that you couldnt even put your bag on the floor. The internet is so bad, you cant even send a text message. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money on a place and dont go to Khao San Road. Go to the riverside area instead. Its much more authentic and quiet!
